£100M valued star has made decision about joining Chelsea this summer
Tottenham striker has made a decision about making the move across London and joining Chelsea it seems.
CHELSEA have managed to sign Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku this summer in order to improve that front-line – but there is still talk that a world class striker is wanted at the club.
And that has led to many reports in the media that Pochettino has asked the board to try and sign Harry Kane – a player that he worked with at Tottenham and a man that is heavily tipped to leave the Spurs in order to win trophies.
A move across London to Chelsea would be like Sol Campbell joining Arsenal – but Pochettino has now represented both clubs from the dugout and he sounded keen to work with Kane again.
WHAT IS THE LATEST –
According to the Evening Standard, Kane has no intention of seeking a move across London to Stamford Bridge despite the obvious attraction of working again with the manager under whom he made his breakthrough.
Spurs, meanwhile, will press ahead with plans to tempt Kane with a new deal worth an eye-watering £400,000-a-week and offer the promise of a coaching role during the latter stages of his career.
WOULD KANE EVER JOIN CHELSEA ?
Tottenham fans would like to think that he loves the club far too much to move across London – But even though he may not go directly there – he would be open to a move if Pochettino is still boss in a few seasons.
If the reports are true and he is not joining Chelsea – then his choices will be Bayern Munich, Man United or stay put and win nothing.
Big summer decision for the man – but Tottenham need to make sure they get something as losing him next summer for nothing would be a mistake
