Double winner announces i want to win trophies after Chelsea transfer deal CONFIRMED!
Katerina Svitkova has opened up and revealed that she would like to win more trophies at Slavia Prague after CHELSEA made the decision to allow her to depart the club this month after an injury plagued career at the club.
‘The attacking midfielder joined the Blues from fellow Women’s Super League side West Ham United in July 2022, but endured a difficult first season due to injury, and she was allowed to leave the club for Prague after failing to establish herself in that Blues side.
She told the Prague website: “As far as personal performances are concerned, I think they were good. After almost a year and a half without fights and some health problems, I was gradually getting back into the pace. Despite all the setbacks, I had good moments, so I’m happy with myself.”
“The preparation was very demanding because I had to deal with several injuries. Unfortunately, I have trained and played very little in the last four years due to injuries, which has been difficult not only physically but also mentally.
‘After each return to fitness, another injury came, and this kept repeating. However, I hope that thanks to the care we have in Slavia, I will now keep myself healthy, get back to my optimal physical form and build on the performances I gave when I left Slavia.”
“I’m really looking forward to the upcoming matches. Even though we have recently had important matches with the national team, a month has passed since then, and I miss the competitive rhythm.
‘I can’t wait for the dress rehearsal, for the match against Bayern, which awaits us at the weekend. I know it will be difficult, I hope we will make full use of everything we have trained. At the same time, I’m looking forward to meeting my former CHELSEA teammates, of which there are many at Bayern.”
