Arsenal fans told striker will be joining Arsenal this summer!

Sky Sports News’ chief reporter Kaveh Solhekol has come out and told the ARSENAL fans that Mikel Arteta will make sure that a new striker is signing for the club over the next few months.

The north London club finished second behind Premier League champions Liverpool this season and failed to add to the single trophy – the 2020 FA Cup – won by Arteta during his five-and-a-half-year reign to date.

The fact that Arsenal have had to use midfielder Mikel Merino as their main striker even since the January window closed as got many fans hoping that a new forward is signed this transfer window if they want to win some trophies next season.

Now, amid all the speculation and rumours, Solhekol has come out and told the Arsenal fans that Mikel Arteta will make sure that a new striker is signed, he told Sky Sports: “We have heard Mikel Arteta that when Arsenal come calling, players most often say yes. They find it difficult to turn them down.

“I’m sure he has been very impressed by what Mikel Arteta is doing at Arsenal.

“ARSENAL are pressing ahead with completing a deal. He will become Arsenal’s first signing of the summer.

“Not the last. Arsenal will sign a striker this summer. I think they will sign a world-class striker, like Victor Gyokeres from Sporting or Benajmin Sesko from RB Leipzig.

“It will be Zubimendi and a striker, as well as other players. Next season, he [Arteta] wants to win the the title. He has been putting pressure on the board.

“They will be active in the window.”

A striker should have been signed earlier, Mikel Arteta needs to make sure that he gets somebody that will score 20,30 goals a season.
