World class star tells Liverpool if he will make summer move this summer
Liverpool target Joshua Kimmich has shut down any suggestion that he could leave Bayern Munich this summer.
LIVERPOOL did not have the best of seasons and will look to delve into that transfer kitty a few more times to add players to the side that will freshen up the squad and help them get back to challenging for titles.
And they are looking to sign a midfielder that has the ability to replace Jordan Henderson and Fabinho – who will not be part of the plans for next season after deciding to leave the club
The 28-year-old has won 11 Bundesliga titles with the Allianz Arena club and has played a major role in Bayern’s most recent dominance in Germany.
WHAT IS THE LATEST –
Kimmich’s current contract runs until 2025 after joining from Stuttgart almost eight years ago, and there have been rumours that Bayern do not want to sell the German this transfer window.
But now it seems that they have a chance to sign one of the best players in the world, as According to Fichajes, Liverpool, along with Manchester City and Manchester United, ‘will begin to send proposals’ to the German giants in a bid to ‘finalise’ a deal.
But when asked about the prospect of leaving the Allianz Arena this summer, Kimmich shut down any transfer talk by claiming he is certain he will remain a Bayern player this season.
He said: “I’m very certain that I will play the coming season at FC Bayern. I have no other plans.”
WOULD HE BE A GOOD LIVERPOOL SIGNING?
Kimmich is a world class player and we are massively shocked to see that Bayern are even considering letting him leave the club.
But he would be a top-class signing for the Reds that is for sure and a man that would be a good addition to that LIVERPOOL squad.
So it is a shame that he wants to stay put.
