Jurgen Klopp very interested in bringing £199,000-a-week midfielder to Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have been linked with Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie.

Barcelona haven’t been impressed by Kessié so far, who has failed to adapt in his new club and is seen last in the midfield pecking order.

Barca reportedly feel his wages are too high for his performances and are reportedly ready let the player leave in the coming weeks if the right offers are made for the midfielder.

And that could alert Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp to a possible deal, as he looks to replace the departed Fabinho and Jordan Henderson – who have both not officially departed the club.

WHAT IS THE LATEST – 

According to Sport, LIVERPOOL like the £199,0000-a-week midfielder and could make a move.

They were heavily linked with a move for Kessie during the January transfer window and will surely make a move again if he is actually on the transfer market.

And if you believe the words of Reporter Iomie Stanley – he would be a good signing for the club – he told icfootballnews: ‘With all the quality that Barcelona have in that midfield – it is easy to see why Kessie is struggling to make the impact that many had hoped for – but he would be a very good signing for Liverpool

‘He is just the type of player that the Reds are in need of adding to the squad – so they would be massive fools to not make a move for the man should the opportunity be there.

‘If he comes onto the market – there is a very good chance the Reds could sign the player – and he would be a brilliant addition to the side.’

SHOULD LIVERPOOL SIGN KESSIE?

Look, if the money is right and he is interested in a move to Anfield – then yes he could be a very solid addition to that Liverpool squad.

But we cant see it happening – the money that Barca want is seemingly more than what LIVERPOOL want to pay.
