German reveals he hopes goal-machine signs up with Liverpool as talks cotninue

Former Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has urged Mo Salah to stay at LIVERPOOL amid all the speculation that the Egyptian star will be leaving the club when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Salah has been in sensational form for Liverpool this season and is already near the 20-goal mark, despite the fact he has been in talks with the Reds over a new deal for months, and nothing has got any closer.

There has been all sorts of speculation about where he could end up, as move to PSG, Bayern Munich and even Saudi Arabia have been mooted in recent weeks, and many even believe that he will eventually agree a new contract and stay.

Now, amid all the speculation, The iconic Anfield boss, who left last summer, has hailed Salah as the best striker Liverpool have had in modern times, and has admitted that he hopes Salah will stay and agree a new contract at Anfield.

The Egyptian scored a whopping 211 goals in 349 games under Klopp at Liverpool, who has now been unveiled as Red Bull’s head of global football – The German said: “I hope he stays. That’s the biggest striker LFC has had in modern times.

“Obviously they had other good strikers, really good strikers.
“But fantastic player, fantastic human being, outstanding athlete, best ambassador Egypt could have, fantastic really pretty much in all departments.

“So I hope he will stay at Liverpool.”

There has been so much speculation about the future of Salah, there is lots of talks going on, but right now, he is closer to leaving than he is staying.

LIVERPOOL will move on if he does go, but it will be sad because Salah has been a world class Premier League players ever since he made the move to Liverpool.
