‘Never see a game like this’ Klopp reacts After Liverpool smash Barcelona 4-3 on aggregate

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has admitted he cannot remember a game like this after knocking out Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals.

Liverpool were hoping to turn around a 3-0 loss at the Camp Nou on Tuesday night, and got off to the perfect start when Divok Origi managed to score an early goal to get the comeback rolling.

Georginio Wijnaldum then came on to score twice in quick succession in the second half to make the tie even before some quick thinking from the impressive Trent Alexander-Arnold produced one of the greatest nights in Champions League football, when Origi netted Liverpool’s fourth and the goal to knock out Barcelona.

And Klopp, who was overwhelmed with the occasion, admitted that he may never see a game like this again, telling BT Sports: “The whole game, the whole performance was too much. It was overwhelming. I watched in my life so many football games but I can’t remember many like this.

“Winning is already difficult but winning with a clean sheet – I don’t know how the boys did it. I saw James Milner crying after the game on the pitch, it means so much to all of us.

“There are more important things in the world but creating this kind of atmosphere is so special.

“It’s 10 past 10, most of your children are probably in bed but these boys are f*****g talented giants. It’s unbelievable. Fine me if you want. I’m not native so I don’t have better words for it.”

Now Liverpool are current betting favorites according to this site MytopSportsbooks.com Followed by Ajax, who picked up an away goal against Tottenham.

Klopp has transformed this Liverpool side into one of the best in Europe and firmly proven that the Reds are back at the very highest level of the game. They will now be sure favourites to claim the Champions League title against Ajax or Spurs.

It was a memorable night for Liverpool fans and one once again proves that they are one of the most dangerous sides in the game right now.
