Barella bid accepted, Isco-Kovacic for Hazard, Coutinho on way in, Hazard price set in Chelsea Wednesday news and gossip

Here is the daily roundup of Chelsea news, gossip and transfer speculation.

Fresh reports have claimed Chelsea have targeted Phillipe Coutinho as the replacement for Eden Hazard.

Hazard has been an integral part of the Chelsea side this season once more and is the main reason why they are still in the hunt for a top four spot, but he is widely tipped to pack his bags and head for Real Madrid in a deal worth around £100 million.

Madrid are in desperate need of adding a few world class players to their squads and have identified Hazard as the man they most want, especially since PSG will not let Neymar leave for anything less than £200 million.

But despite all a whole host of players linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, the Independent has claimed Chelsea will now step up their chase to sign £142 million rated Coutinho, who is struggling at Barcelona this season.

The Brazil international has struggled to make a huge impact at Camp Nou since his £142m move from Liverpool just over a year ago, and there has been a lot of speculation that Barcelona are ready to cash in at the end of the season and use the funds to land their top transfer targets.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have reported set a £100 million asking price for star man Hazard.

With no new contract in sight between Chelsea and the Belgian, it is widely expected that this will be his last season at Stamford Bridge, with a dream move to the Bernabeu high up on his agenda.

The Ballon D’or crown and a Champions League title is what he really wants, and although Chelsea are one of the best sides in world football, they cannot guarantee him the opportunity to win both.

Despite the fact that he will have just a year left on his contract, Chelsea reportedly want over £100m to allow Hazard to leave, according to the Metro website.

Chelsea have reportedly offered Hazard a whopping £300,000-a-week contract to stay at the club, but he has so far refused that deal and has recently admitted that he has made up his mind about whether or not he will stay or go.

Reports have claimed Real Madrid will allow both Isco and Mateo Kovacic to sign for Chelsea, when they complete a deal for Eden Hazard.

It is no secret in the media that Hazard has a dream to leave Chelsea and make that big money move to Real Madrid at the end of the season, as he wants to help fulfil his dreams of winning the Champions League and Ballon D’Or titles.

Chelsea may be one of the best clubs in world football, but they may struggle to get back into the top four this season with so much competition, and could spend another season in the Europa League, which is not what Hazard wants.

And despite the fact Chelsea have offered him a massive £300,000-a-week deal to stay, reports in the media have claimed that Chelsea have set a £100 million asking price for Hazard, that Madrid may be willing to pay, in sorts.

The Daily star website has claimed Madrid will allow Isco to leave if Hazard arrives in the summer, with speculation they have had enough of the Spaniard and his unimpressive performances over the seasons.

The Spanish giants will also reportedly allow Mateo Kovacic to make his loan move a permanent one in the summer, knowing the Croatian star would love to stay in London after impressing in the opening weeks of the season.

Meanwhile, Reports have claimed Chelsea had a £44 million bid accepted for Cagliari star Nicolo Barella.

Barella became a top transfer target for Maurizio Sarri during the January transfer window after the Blues allowed Cesc Fabregas to end his stay with the club and make a move to Monaco.

Chelsea did have a bid accepted by Cagliari, with both clubs ready to do business for £44 million. But the 21-year old midfielder reportedly rejected a move, according to the TMW website.

It is believed the young star wanted to stay in Italy for family reasons.
