Lukaku wants dream Inter move – Kounde to be first signing – Cascarino wants Lewandowski in Chelsea news of the day

Tony Cascarino has encouraged Chelsea to sign Robert Lewandowski this coming summer transfer window

Lewandowski has been in the headlines alot over the past few weeks after admitting that he wanted to leave Bayern Munich after a number of seasons at the Bundesliga giants

All the big clubs have been eyeing up a possible deal for the man – and although Barcelona are leading the chase – Chelsea are one club that may be very much interested in trying to get a deal done.

Chelsea are one of those clubs that are very much interested in getting a transfer deal done – and now that the takevover is completed – it is expected that a move by the Blues is made

And amid all the speculation – Cascarino has opened and encouraged Tuchel to get a deal done – Cascarino Tweeted: “If Tuchel is given the option to get Lewandowski – he’s going to go for it!”

“👀 “#CFC have missed goals in the centre forward position and it’s cost them!”

It comes after Lewandowski officially confirmed that he will be leaving Bayern in the transfer window – “My story at Bayern is over. After everything that has happened in recent months, I cannot imagine further good cooperation.

“Bayern is a serious club and I hope they will not keep me just because they can. A transfer is the best solution for all parties.”

Bayern do not want to lose their most important player – but there is no point in keeping him at the club if he wants to leave

He would and could be a brilliant signing for Chelsea – but we have a strong feeling that a move to Barcelona will be the one he makes

And maybe that is the right decision at this stage of his career

Lukaku wants dream move

Romelu Lukaku ‘dreams’ of returning to Inter Milan this summer – with his lawyer all set to hold talks about a possible move

The £4billion takeover of Chelsea was finally confirmed yesterday – and fans can now start getting excited about the possible players that will be arriving at Stamford Bridge – but they will also get to see some players leave the club too

After a bright start following his club-record £97.5m transfer last summer, Lukaku’s influence faded and ended the season behind the likes of Kai Havertz and Timo Werner under manager Thomas Tuchel.

He scored 15 goals in all competitions, but had to apologise to the club and fans for his comments about his bit-part role while in international duty – and he is now keen to discuss a move away from the club.

And according to Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano – he has his heart set on a move to Italian giants Inter Milan – and the Italians board will meet with Lukaku’s representatives soon.

It is believed that Chelsea are looking to recoup some of that £97.5 that they paid to secure a deal for Lukaku – but Inter do not want to pay anything near that and would much prefer to take him on-loan for the season.

Romano tweeted: “Inter board will meet Romelu Lukaku’s lawyer in the coming hours.

“Belgian striker dreams of returning to Inter but nothing has been discussed yet with Chelsea on formula, salary and more.”

What can you say about Lukaku but he looked like a giant donkey in that Chelsea side this season

His performances were not good enough – his movement was awful and at times – his finishing was semi-pro level

It is probably the best thing that he departs the club in the coming window as having him for another season would not get fans excited about possible trophies

Kounde to be first signing –

It has been claimed that Ted Boehly will make Sevilla star Jules Kounde his first Chelsea signing.

A deal has finally been agreed between Roman Abramovich and the UK Government over the sale of Chelsea that has allowed Todd Boehly’s takeover of the football club.

It is widely expected that the American will hand Thomas Tuchel some funds in order to sign a few players that the club seriously need 0 and now it means that Chelsea fans can start planning for some big arrivals in the summer – starting with Kound

Thomas Tuchel is in desperate need of defensive reinforcements after it became apparent that both Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen are intending to leave the club for Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively.

The 23-year-old Kounde has been a long-term target of the London club, and will be a statement of intent from new owner Boehly, who has indicted that significant funds will be available.

A deal for the French defender – equally comfortable at right-back or centre-half – is expected to cost the Blues in the region of £60million, and will now be on step closer now that the takeover has been confirmed

Kounde already has agreed personal terms over that move to Stamford Bridge – and he will be the immediate replacement for the departing Antonio Rudiger – who is joining Barcelona on a deal worth £325,000-a-week

Antonio Rudiger will be missed by Chelsea that is for sure, but Kounde is a very special talent

He has the ability to cope in the Premier League and if Thomas Tuchel trusts him enough, he could be one of the best in world football

This is a player that Chelsea have been watching for some time and a player that has the ability to become one of the very best on the planet
