Arsenal all set to finally sign Tielemans – Arsenal told to sign Bowen – Kroenke green light to sign Diaby in Arsenal news of the day –

Darren Bent has encouraged Arsenal to splash £75 million and try to sign West Ham star Jarrod Bowen

Despite all the transfer business that Arsenal have done already this summer – it is no secret in the media that Mikel Arteta wants to keep adding to the side over the next few weeks

And that has led to some stunning reports in the media which has suggested that Arsenal are very much interested in signing the impressive Bowen – who has been linked with a move away from the Hammers all season

Bowen Directly contributed to 24 goals for the Hammers this season and is massively tipped to sign for one of the big clubs should the right offer arrive in the coming weeks of the window

And according to talkSPORT pundit and former Premier League star Darren Bent – Arsenal should try and sign Bowen this transfer window and should pay that £75 million asking price that has been placed on the player’s head

“I didn’t know that (on Bowen being linked to Arsenal). I am not paying that. No chance.”

“Then again, we paid £72 million for Pepe, so I would snap your hand off! £75 million?! I would snap your hand off.”

“When you look at the attacking options Arsenal have got, with Saka and Smith Rowe. But £75 million would tempt them, trust me.

“If Arsenal were to drop £75 million on the table for Jarrod Bowen, then West Ham would consider that.”

The Hammers do not want to lose Bowen this transfer window and we believe he will not leave this summer – but how could they turn down £75 million for the player if that arrives

It is a massive amount of money for any club, and they could really invest in the squad with that cash

Diaby green light –

It has again been claimed that Arsenal have been given the green light to try and sign Bayer Leverkusen star Moussa Diaby

Mikel Arteta has some some pretty good transfer business this summer and he should be proud of the players that he has managed to bring to the club over the last few weeks

But there are a few more areas of the pitch that he needs to work on and adding another central midfielder will not be on the agenda of the Spanish boss – who has some money left to spend

There has been so many players linked with a move to the club – defenders – midfielders – forwards – and now it seems that Arsenal have been given the green light to try and sign Diaby

Diaby was outstanding for the German club last season, with his 42 matches in all competitions yielding 17 goals and 14 assists.

And according to Football Insider – Arsenal have registered their interest in the France international – as they look to seal a deal they believe will “complete” their attack.

And they add owner Stan Kroenke has given the green light to the club to try and make a move before the end of the transfer window

Many believe that Arsenal need to sign a big striker – a powerful striker – a man that will give Arteta something different up top – a man that has the ability to hold the ball up and win things in the air – they do not have that

They have a number of players that can play out on the wings – a striker should be next – now a winger

So, even though Diaby is a very good player – he is not the type of star that Arsenal need to sign right now

Arsenal to finally sign Tielemans?

Arsenal could finally complete the signing of Youri Tielemans after selling Bernd Leno and Lucas Torreira, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.

Tielemans is a player that has been linked with a move to the Emirates over the course of the transfer window after news broke that he would not be signing a new contract at Leicester and is open to leaving the Foxes

It is believed that Arsenal could agree a fee of £25 million for the player and all they have to do is offer the right amount of money – according to the reports – but so far this summer – they have not been able to get a deal done

But after allowing both Leno and Torreira to leave the club – Agbonlahor has opened up and claimed that Arsenal may now look to complete the signing of the Belgian star: “I think definitely another midfielder would be perfect,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider..

“I feel Arsenal need to get another top right-back, for me. It might not be possible this window but [Takehiro] Tomiyasu and Cedric [Soares] are not good enough, it’s an area they’ve got to improve.

“Another midfielder is worth getting, there’s a lot of football to be played this season.

“There are a lot of players in that Arsenal midfield who are not good enough at the moment.

“Maybe they are waiting until last minute, in late August, to get the Tielemans one over the line.

“Maybe they are getting rid of fringe players to get the money in for Tielemans for the end of the window.”

Arsenal have started the new season in great fashion and looked very solid – but if there is a chance to sign Tielemans – they should do it
