Sorry Poch as exciting £40 million star wants to join Arsenal this summer!

Chelsea linked Mohammed Kudus is reportedly more keen on joining ARSENAL this summer than the Blues.

Kudus has been in the headlines alot over the past few weeks as CHELSEA have been working very hard to bring him to the Premier League in a dela that will cost the club some big money.

Kudus enjoyed a great season in 2022/23. After shining for Ghana at the World Cup, he ended the campaign with 18 goals and seven assists for Ajax across all competitions.

However – so far the Blues have been unable to wrap up the transfer signing of Kudus simply because they do not want to pay the asking price that Ajax have placed on the head of the talented midfielder.

But now it seems that he is more interested in making a move to the Blues Premier League rivals.

WHAT HAS BEEN CLAIMED – 

It was claimed that Kudus is ‘close’ to ‘agreeing personal terms’ ahead of a potential move to Chelsea but Football Transfers are reporting that he has ‘expressed a strong preference for joining Arsenal’ over their London rivals.

The fact that Arsenal are in the Champions League is reportedly ‘a prominent aspect in his decision as he wants to play at the very highest level of the game, and the reports also adds that personal terms would not be an issue for the Gunners.

WOULD KUDUS BE A GOOD SIGNING FOR ARSENAL?

Kudus is a very talented player and is just the type of player that CHELSEA have been looking to sign this transfer window – so they will be massively disappointed if the reports are true and he wants a move to the Emirates.

Do ARSENAL – it would be a real coup to get a man that is able to play in a number of positions and is dangerous in front of goal.

So as we said – it will be very interesting to see where he ends up as either club would be getting a real quality player.
