Big transfer statement made with Chelsea looking to sign brilliant £87 million attacker

Fabrizio Romano posted a statement from Napoli regarding Chelsea target Khvicha Kvaratskhelia last night.

The Summer window is now open and there is alot of speculation in the media about who that Chelsea board will look to try and bring in to help get the club challenging for trophies and Champions League football once again.

CHELSEA FC had a shocking season under Mauricio Pochettino and are lacking some top-level players in key areas of the pitch that will help them get back into the chase for a top four spot, which led to reports that Kvaratskhelia is wanted.

It’s claimed that Napoli will demand in excess of €100million (£87million) for Kvaratskhelia, though they are hoping to fend off interest with a new and improved contract.

Both the Georgian’s agent and father are reportedly looking for the attacker to make the move to a Champions League club after Napoli endured a dismal season. As was reported earlier, there is a hope from the attacker’s representatives that he leaves Antonio Conte’s side this summer.

However, the 2023 Serie A champions have issued a strong response after the claims: “After Kvaratskhelia’s camp statement, we want to remind that he’s under contract until June 2027,” the statement began.

“Kvaratskelia is NOT for sale. Player’s agents do NOT decide where they are going, but it’s Napoli deciding when they are under contract.”

Kvaratskhelia is one hell of a player and a man that CHELSEA fans would love to see arrive at the club, but a striker is more important right now.

It is a shame that he is not leaving Napoli as he could have been a top class signing for the Blues that is for sure,
