Leboeuf officially tells Manchester United £100 million target Bale ‘will do a great job’ when he leaves Madrid in summer

Frank Leboeuf reckons Real Madrid ace Gareth Bale is still a player who can do a great job for a top team like Manchester United

Despite the fact that Bale has helped Madrid won numerous trophies, has managed to score at least 20-goals a season and is one of the biggest players at the club, fans have never taken to him at the club and he has been constantly linked with a move away.

That has led to alot, and we mean ALOT, of speculation in the media which has constantly suggested that he could make the move back to the Premier League, with the likes of United, Chelsea and even former club Tottenham all linked with a potential swoop.

And although a deal never materialised, it is now claimed that he will be leaving the club at the end of the season, and Leboeuf has claimed that he could be a fantastic signing for most clubs as he will still be able to do a great job for a top club, he told ESPN: “He’s a high-level footballer, he proved that he can do fantastically well.

“Maybe a lack of consistency because maybe he didn’t adjust pretty well to Real Madrid, the lifestyle, but also maybe the way they played.

“But he’s a tremendous player, he’s a fantastic player and I think he will find any club, especially if he is free to go.

“I’m sure, especially if maybe Harry Kane goes to another club, maybe Tottenham would love to get him back.

“So we’ll see, he can find many clubs in England, maybe Paris Saint-Germain, you never know.

“I still think that he can serve a club very well.”

Yes Bale is not the same player that he once was and is coming towards the back-end of his career, but for the right price, surely fans would like to see him arrive?
