Man United to sign world class midfielder – Ten Hag told to sign £200M man – Lewandowski green light given

Tottenham, Kane
will Kane finally leave Spurs?

Man United handed Lewandowski boost – Man United to sign De Jong – big Harry Kane message sent in Man United news of the day….

Imminent new Man United signing Frenkie de Jong has been praised by former Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi ahead of his possible move to Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag has outlined a shortlist of priority positions Manchester United should look to address in the transfer market, ands he has already held a meeting with United director John Murtough to discuss the areas United will prioritise.

And Barcelona’s ex-Ajax star De Jong emerged as Ten Hag’s top summer target at the get-together. as it seems that Barcelona are very much open to the idea of letting him depart the Camp Nou

And amid all the peculation that he could be on his way to Man United in the transfer window – Messi has opened up and had nothing but positive words for the Dutch International – Messi said: “(de Jong is a) very intelligent player.

Former manager Ronald Koeman also said: “When I arrived I told Frenkie: ‘This is your second season, you have to make a step higher now, you need to do more than just play along’. This sounds cruel, but he got the message.

I told him to take more responsibility. To arrive in the opponent’s box more.

“During these conversations I also involved Messi.

“Messi told Frenkie that he is a fantastic player. He becomes happy around a player like Frenkie, because he wants to have pure football players around him.”

If the reports are true and Man United are about to sign a player that is world class – it will be a massive statement signing by Ten Hag

The Dutchman knows that he needs to add quality over quantity – but if De Jong is followed in by some more superstars – The Rest of the Premier League could get worried very quickly

Lewandowski decision made…

Robert Lewandowski will not renew his contract at Bayern Munich – opening a door to a possible Man United move

There is no doubt in world football that Lewandowski is the best striker in the game right now and a man that has just broken all sorts of records since he joined Bayern Munich way back in 2014

Having smashed 48 goals in 40 appearances last term, he has already surpassed that mark this season and he helped the German giants to record their 10th consecutive Bundesliga crown

The striker’s current deal runs until the end of next season, but he has already decided he wants to leave the club and could be sold before his contract expires as Bayern want to make some money on him

Man United will be in the market for a new striker and have been heavily linked with a move for the player in recent seasons – but he has never shown any desire to leave the Germans

We have been shocked to see that talks over a new contract have not been opened by Bayern, but at the end of the day, it is their fault that he has decided to leave if the reports are true

Lewandowski may not be the youngest of players these days – but he is one of the best players in world football and adding him to the squad would pretty much guarantee 30-extra goals a season

He will still cost alot of money – and he would command around £500,000-a-week – but we would love to see him in the Premier League guys that is for certain

If Man United want to send a statement to the rest of the Premier League – then Lewandowski is the man they need to sign

United told to sign Kane…

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has encouraged Erik Ten Hag to try and bring Tottenham striker Harry Kane to Man United this summer

Hasselbaink expects Ten Hag to bring success back to Man United but says the rebuilding job will ‘not be a quick fix’ and he will need a few signings to help the club get back into the habit of playing at the highest level of the game

Kane is a man that Man United have been linked with for many seasons – but they have not been able to sign him as Daniel Levy will demand a massive fee for the man – close to that £200 million makr.

Hasselbaink believes Kane should leave Spurs if he has ambitions to win major trophies and says United should be looking to secure his signature, along with his England teammate Bellingham.

‘If you’re talking about the League Cup or the FA Cup, Harry Kane may have a chance at Tottenham, but if you’re talking about the Premier League and the Champions League, then he needs to move,’ he told Prime Slots.

‘You can see that Antonio Conte is getting frustrated with recruitment, both adding and selling players, so if he doesn’t continue in his role as manager, then Kane doesn’t have a chance and he will definitely need to leave.

‘I don’t know if he [Ten Hag] will, but if I was Man United, and I was reconstructing the squad, he would be one that I would buy”

There was ever a player that would bring goals to the side it is Harry Kane – he really is one of the very best strikers on the planet and a man that would help close the gap on Man City and Liverpool

Will they pay big money to get a deal done? Does Harry Kane see them as a step up? right now Man United are below Spurs – so a move there not make sense
