Chelsea to make Lewandowski offer – Kounde terms have been agreed – Chelsea locked in Alonso talks in Chelsea news of the day…

It has been claimed that Barcelona and Chelsea are locked in advanced talks over a transfer deal for Marcos Alonso

The Spanish star is currently enjoying a very good run in the team under Thomas Tuchel thanks to the injury that is keeping Ben Chilwell out of the squad, and looks like a very good defender, at times.

But there has constantly been speculation about players that could be arriving in the coming windows, despite all the drama surrounding the club right now, which will mean that Alonso will fall back down the pecking order at the club.

And that has constantly led to many reports in the media which have claimed that Chelsea are very much open to letting him go, especially as his contract at the club expires at the end of next season.

Now – amid all the speculation – transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has opened up and claimed that Barcelona and Chelsea are locked in advanced talks over a deal for Alonso – who is keen to make the move to the Camp Nou

He Tweeted: “Marcos Alonso has not changed his plans. He’s set to leave Chelsea this summer – he wants to return to Spain and Barcelona are in advanced talks on personal terms, but still waiting for price tag. 🔵🇪🇸 #CFC

“Emerson Palmieri won’t stay at OL – he’s now coming back at Chelsea.”

Chelsea fans will surely not appreciate the fact that Alonso is talking about leaving the club and moving over to La Liga, especially with all the rumours that there could be an exodus at the club.

However, if he does depart the club, there are many player out there that can be signed that will do a better job for Tuchel.

And with Chilwell back in the side – he will not be missed too much will he?

Kounde terms agreed…

Sevilla star Jules Kounde is reportedly edging closer to signing for Chelsea after agreeing personal terms over a switch to Stamford Bridge – it has been claimed again

Kounde has been a big part of Sevilla’s season, starting 31 La Liga games and five Champions League games this season, helping them to secure a top four finish.

He is regarded as one of the finest young central defenders in the game right now and the player that Thomas Tuchel reportedly believes will be the ideal man to replace the departing Antonio Rudiger

He is talented with the ball at his feet, agile and quick – but At 5’11”, the young international is neither particularly tall nor broad for a central defender – which could cause him some issues in the Premier League.

Now – transfer guru Andreas Korssund has claimed that the player has agreed personal terms with Chelsea, who are ready to meet Sevilla’s asking price of £59 million

Korssung was quoted: “Jules Kounde is closing in on a move to Chelsea.

“The Blues will conclude talks with Sevilla as soon as Boehly’s takeover is complete and they are ready to pay the required fee.

“Personal terms have already been agreed and the Frenchman is only waiting for Chelsea.”

So fans will welcome him with open arms – great start to the summer spending that Chelsea are expected spend

Lewandowski offer to be made…

It has again been claimed that Chelsea will rival Barcelona for the signature of Robert Lewandowski – after Thomas Tuchel dropped a massive transfer hint

The Pole goal-scoring machine has a year to run on his deal at Bayern Munich but he appeared to say goodbye to supporters at the Allianz Arena last week after he failed to agree that new deal that he wanted.

The former Dortmund ace is reportedly keen on joining Barcelona – but it remains to be seen whether the Catalans can afford the Pole’s salary of £600,000-a-week – particularly given their financial troubles.

That has led to suggestions that Chelsea are ready to swoop in for the man and make him an offer to come to the Premier League – as Tuchel knows he needs to close that gap on man City and Liverpool with big-time signings

And The Guardian claim the incoming Chelsea board are now considering challenging for his signature.

Tuchel feels that the side’s lack of goals has cost them dearly this season and has hinted that adding a new striker to the attack his on his mind: ‘If we stick to the group then we will try to solve it with these players,’ said Tuchel

‘Is it necessary to bring more offensive players around the box to create more distractions, to create more space for each other? We will ask that question. Can we do better in the structure? Can we push the players more? Did we rotate too much? Let’s see.

‘There are a lot of options. The numbers we produce from our offensive players don’t allow us to overperform and we need overperformance if we want to be nearer to the top two teams.

‘I am not pointing fingers, I am not blaming anybody, but we need overperformance from everybody. It’s not overperformance if we have only single figures in scoring and assisting.’
