Chelsea announcement imminent as £28 million deal ‘All but done’
Reporter Iomie Stanley has confirmed that Lewis Hall’s loan move from Chelsea to Newcastle United on a permanent basis is all but done.
The 19-year-old has only made 16 appearances in all competitions for Eddie Howe’s side this season after the decision was made in the summer window to allow him to depart the club.
Former CHELSEA FC boss Mauricio Pochettino felt that he was not quite ready to make any sort of impact at the club and decided that he was one player that could benefit from a loan spell away from the club.
The loan move included an obligation to buy if Newcastle finished above 15th in the Premier League table, and their win over Tottenham Hotspur towards the end of the season confirmed the Magpies are unable to finish any lower than 14th..
Now – Stanley has opened up and claimed that Lewis Halls permanent move to the club is all but done – he told icfootballnews: ‘Newcastle have been desperate to keep hold of Hall this summer, he was very impressive for the Toon.
‘Eddie Howe knows that he needs to keep the quality players at the club and add to the side over the next few months – Hall is a player that the club feel can develop into a top Premier League star in the coming months.
‘Chelsea letting the lad go was not a big decision to make as they plan on adding to the squad this summer – but an announcement is surely imminent as a move to Newcastle is all but done.

If Lewis Hall is joining Newcastle on a permanent deal – it could be a great move for the lad as he will probably get alot more game time then he would over at CHELSEA FC.
Toon fans like him and he seems happy – it is a very good long-term to move to make.
