Liverpool fans told £82M star has agreed six-year contract worth £120k-a-week
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has reported that Liverpool have agreed to a six-year contract with PSV Eindhoven star Cody Gakpo.
PSV reportedly value Gakpo at £40m, a fee that hasn’t changed since the summer despite his electric start to the current campaign.
He’s registered 13 goals and 17 assists in in all competitions for PSV this season and is reportedly a player that Jurgen Klopp wanted to add to his squad this coming transfer window.
Football Insider has further revealed the transfer details, claiming that the deal will be ‘worth £82 million in transfer fee and wages’ after the move ‘progressed swiftly in recent days and a package worth an initial £37 million, rising to a potential £44 million with add-ons’.
The Reds will also pay £120,000 per week wages to Gakpo for the course of his six-year deal.

Gakpo has shown that he is ready to make that next step in his career and play for a big club – and he has certainly shown that he is now worth such a massive asking price.
But the Premier League is not the Dutch League – it is not the kind of teams he is playing against in Qatar – it is a massive risk from Liverpool to make.
But if there is any boss that will be able to get the very best out of the Dutchman – it will be Jurgen Klopp – who is one of the very best managers in world football.
Liverpool fans will surely be excited to see just what Gakpo is able to bring to the club – especially after his performances at the World Cup
