Liverpool fc Transfer news: Klopp sent massive double transfer message about possible £300,000-a-week Arsenal arrival and Barcelona signing!
Emile Heskey has advised Liverpool to make summer moves for Philippe Coutinho and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Liverpool are sitting patiently waiting for the FA to decide on whether or not they are able to finish the Premier League season and regain the League title for the first time in 30-years, which many believe they fully deserve
But there has also been alot of transfer speculation in the media about possible signings that Jurgen Klopp could make in order to improve his side enough to push on from tyhis season, with the likes of Coutinho and Aubameyang linked with shock moves.
Aubameyang is considering his future at Arsenal with reports suggesting that he wants a contract that the Gunners do not want to pay, while Coutinho is done at Barcelona and they are reportedly keen to sell in the summer for a fee of around £77 million.
But Heskey has opened up and warned his club NOT TO MAKE moves for the duo, Heskey, speaking to GentingBet, said: ‘Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a wonderful goal-getter. His stats are amazing.
‘He is showing time and time again that he is a goal scorer. He’s playing in an Arsenal side that isn’t really fancied in and around the league but he’s going out and scoring week in and week out.
‘He’s challenging for the Golden Boot. He’s Mr Consistent.
‘But, will he fit in the Liverpool system? Probably not. I don’t think that he would be an ideal fit for Liverpool.’
On the speculation surrounding Coutinho, Heskey added: ‘Liverpool don’t generally resign players – Robbie Fowler and Ian Rush were the exceptions.
‘No disrespect to Coutinho as he is a fabulous player but where would he fit in the side right now?
‘The side is looking so good at this moment in time that you can’t see him fitting in unless you change the formation.
‘He could then possibly get in the side but Liverpool don’t necessarily need him right now.’
