Chelsea could sign ‘outstanding’ Leeds United star Crysencio Summerville for almost half the price

It is no secret that LIVERPOOL, have been one of the biggest spenders in the transfer windows over the last few seasons, and it is also no secret that Arne Slot wants to add a bit more quality to the side.

As Leeds United failed to win promotion in the recent campaign, it caused a surge in rumours linking a number of their highly-rated players with moves away from Elland Road.

Summerville, who at 22-years-old produced 33 goal contributions in the second tier is a player that some of the big Premier League sides are very much interested in signing over the next few months of the window,

Leeds’ biggest star now looks set for a step up to the top-flight and according to new reports from Foot Mercato, the likes of Liverpool might be able to snap him up more cheaply than they previously anticipated

They claim that Summerville is actually more likely to cost around €20m – which would be around £16.8m – almost halving his previous reported price of £30m.

For the right money – Summerville could be a solid addition to any side in the Premier League after the couple of seasons that he has just had – he might just be ready for a move to the Premier League.

However – we just believe that he would struggle to make any sort of impact at LIVERPOOL – he is not the player to make a real transfer statement.

So even though he would jump at the chance to sign for the Reds – it may not be the right career choice for him to make at this stage of his career.
