Liverpool free to make £200k-a-week move – Reds target wants FREE move – Agent makes Klopp admission
Here is a roundup of the top Liverpool news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed –
It has again been claimed that Liverpool target Kylian Mbappe has decided that he will be leaving PSG on a free deal in the summer window.
Mbappe has been in the transfer headlines all summer after he came out and revealed that he has no plans to agree a new contract at the club – and will leave when his current deal expires at the end of the season.
PSG only want players on the tour who are committed to the club and want to be at the club, and did intend to sell the Frenchman in the summer for a fee, but the attacker made the decision to stay and wait.
PSG are convinced Mbappe has already agreed to join Real Madrid on a free transfer next summer, but with the Spaniards unable to compete in the transfer market because of their financial issues, that gave the likes of LIVERPOOL to get a transfer deal done.
However – despite all the speculation and all the rumors – Mbappe is still a PSG player and a man that they are trying to tempt into signing a new contract to make him one of the highest paid players in world football.
WHAT IS THE LATEST –
But now Mbappe has told the club once again that he will not sign a new contract despite talks over an extension this summer, according to 90min. Mbappe is even willing to forego the €80 million (£69m/$86m) loyalty bonus he is due the club and will instead leave when his contract expires next year.
IS HE THE RIGHT FIT FOR LIVERPOOL?
Look, Mbappe has no loyalties to the clubs he pays for – he goes where the money is and that is not what the Reds need right now.
He has an amazing amount of talent – but the Premier League is not the French league and that is why he wants a move to La Liga – there are a few great teams and then nothing.
We are sure that alot of fans at LIVERPOOL would love the man, but his heart is set on Madrid and that means he would not give 100 per cent if he made the move to Anfield.
SANCHO CHANCE?
Jadon Sancho will reportedly push for a transfer away from Manchester United in January, alerting the likes of LIVERPOOL.
On the back of his £75 million ($94m) arrival from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund in 2021, the highly-rated wideman has registered just 12 goals through 82 appearances and failed to impress like many had hoped.

It is suggested that the working relationship between the England international winger and his coach Erik Ten Hag has completely broken down at Old Trafford. With there seemingly no way back, a move that suits all parties.
Sancho’s publicly hit back against United boss Erik ten Hag and insisted he had been made a ‘scapegoat’ following criticism for failing to reach the required performance in training.
The Daily Star reporting that a loan deal in January is considered to be the most likely option, with that agreement including the option for a permanent transfer to be pushed through in the summer of 2024.
Amid all the speculation, England boss Gareth Southgate attempted to provide the Man City academy product with a boost of confidence, Discussing Sancho’s international future with England, the Three Lions boss said: ‘I think that’s the challenge for him now.
‘It’s been the best part of a couple of years since we worked with him, it’s difficult to say exactly the position that he finds himself and where he is with it all.
‘But for every player that’s not with us, there is always an opportunity if they can seize the form and have the (right) level of performances,’

Look, LIVERPOOL were heavily linked with a move for Sancho in the summer window, but Man United opted to put a massive asking price on the head of the lad and a move never even got close.
He is well down the pecking order at Old Trafford now and a move away may be the best option for everyone involved. But we do believe that a move away from the Premier League may be the best option.
Sancho is not made for the English game and will have much more success if he makes the move back to the Bundesliga, heads to Spain or makes a move to Italian football.
KLOPP ADMISSION –
Jurgen Klopp will not become the new manager of the German national team, the agent of the LIVERPOOL boss has confirmed.
Hansi Flick began his role as Germany boss in August 2021, replacing the long-serving Joachim Low. He was unbeaten in his first 10 matches in charge. But he oversaw a miserable World Cup in Qatar where his side were dumped out at the group stage.
Japan beat Germany 4-1 in a friendly at the Volkswagen Arena in Wolfsburg on Saturday. Two late goals from the visitors rounded off a third successive defeat for Die Mannschaft.
And with the Germans hosting the European Championships next year, He was relieved from his duties on the weekend and now they hierarchy are looking at replacements for the man.
Klopp has emerged as one of the possible candidates to replace Hansi Flick at the helm of Die Mannschaft, as speculation has intensified in recent days that this could be the time Klopp chooses to swap club football for country and take charge of Germany heading into next year’s European Championship.
It is no secret that Klopp has a desire to manage the National side, and with reports suggesting that he will not sign a new contract at Liverpool when his current deal runs out, there is a chance.
Downplaying this possibility, however, Klopp’s agent Marc Kosicke this evening told Sportschau: “Jurgen has a long-term contract with LFC and is not available for the national coaching position.”

It is no secret that Klopp wants that German job, and it is easy to see why he could just cut and run right now and leave LIVERPOOL, he has achieved everything that he wanted to at Anfield.
However – it is great news that he wants to stay at Anfield and fight on until his contract runs out, he really is one of the best coaches in world football.
