Klopp has been urged to complete Liverpool move and leave Chelsea fans fuming
Liverpool have been urged to sign Mason Mount in the coming transfer windows by Brad Friedel.
Mount is a man that has become one of the most important players at Stamford Bridge and a star that every manager can rely on.
However – with his current deal running out at the club in just 18 month time – there has been alot of speculation about where he could end up – although Chelsea are still working on a deal for him to stay
Liverpool are the latest club to be linked with a move as Jurgen Klopp is a massive fan and could see the Englishman as a great signing as he looks to freshen up his ageing midfield.
Now amid all the speculation – Friedel insists Mount is an ‘exceptional player’ and says he would be a ‘good signing’ for Liverpool.
Mount is currently in Qatar with the England squad preparing for the 2022 World Cup. The Three Lions kick-start their campaign on Monday against Iran.
‘Mason Mount is an exceptional player but the only time it would be a no-brainer for Jurgen Klopp is if it works financially for Chelsea and Liverpool,’ Friedel told Betway.
‘The player has to want to make the move and the rumour that Klopp wants him has to be true.
‘I think these moves for players, as good as Mount is, only work if everyone is in agreement for it.
“But it’s clear he’s a very good player and he’d be a good signing for Liverpool.’
