£112M star opens door to stunning Liverpool transfer move
Rumoured LIVERPOOL target Federico Valverde has suggested he could seek a transfer if the day comes that his game time at Real Madrid is reduced.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was looking to get a deal done for Valverde in the transfer window and the Reds were reportedly tempted to try and bring the Uruguayan to Anfield from Real Madrid in the final few days of the transfer window
The Spanish giants already rejected big offers from Saudi Arabia for Valverde, so it would have taken a mammoth offer from LIVERPOOL to convince Real to part ways, which obviously did not happen.
That has not stopped the speculation in the media that Liverpool may once again make a move for Valverde in the coming transfer windows as they look to keep on improving the squad and adding a few more big names to the side.
But now the attacker has opened up and revealed that he may be open to leaving Madrid in the coming seasons – Speaking to reporters, the Uruguayan said: “Premier League offers? I have the possibility of playing for Real.
‘The day I don’t feel like that, I will probably look for another solution or Real itself will look for one for me.”
We would be shocked to see Velverde make the move to the Premier League – he has shown no desire to leave the Bernabeu until now – so this is a transfer that LIVERPOOL need to forget about
So even though he would be a bit of brilliant business by the Reds, we simply cannot see Liverpool making a move and getting a deal done for the man as it would take out their whole transfer budget.
