Jurgen Klopp opens up and has January transfer message for Liverpool fans

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp believes they will likely stick with their current squad and avoid bringing in any new players during the January transfer window.

Klopp was given a whole load of funds to spend during last summers transfer window and brought in the likes of Alisson, Fabinho, Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri.

Those arrivals, especially Allison and Shaqiris, has given the Reds a team that could dominate for a years to come and made them the Premier League title favourites.

However, there had been some speculation in the media that Klopp was not fully confident that his side had what it took to win some silverware this season, and he was ready to buy big in January.

But as Liverpool sit top of the Premier League, the German Coach has admitted that he may not do any transfer business.

He also spoke of his delight at Harry Wilson’s form during his loan spell with Derby.

“It’s unlikely we’ll do something in the transfer market but like with Harry [Wilson] you react when something new happens,” he said on the Sky Sports website.

“We don’t want to take him away unless we absolutely have to. We like watching him and seeing what he is doing there.”

Should Liverpool buy in the January transfer window?

Right now Klopp has a side that is up there with some of Europes very best and even his back-up players would get into most sides in the Premier League.

So right now not buying and not upsetting the players that have performed so well may be a smart decision, as the Liverpool squad is very impressive.
