Liverpool have made transfer decision about signing Premier League bound Bundesliga star

Liverpool have reportedly cooled their interest in Wolfsburg and Holland defender Micky van de Ven.

LIVERPOOL have been poor defensively this season and conceded far too many goals for the quality that they have in that back-line.

Liverpool stars Joe Gomez and Joal Matip started together on the Premier League’s final day, conceding four times in a 4-4 draw with relegated Southampton, and showed that without Virgil Van Dijk they are a mess at the back.

The Merseysiders have also been credited with an interest in highly-rated centre-back duo Josko Gvardiol and Goncalo Inacio – but it seems that they are moving elsewhere or staying put.

WHAT IS THE LATEST – 

according to the German publication Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung, the 22-year-old will not make the move to Anfield this summer.

A report on Tuesday read: “Jorg Schmadtke, in consultation with coach Jürgen Klopp, came to the conclusion that van de Ven’s move to Liverpool would come too early because the professional would still lack the physical robustness to assert himself on the island.”

And now it seems that he is all set to complete a move to Tottenham.

SHOULD LIVERPOOL KEEP CHASING VAN DE VEN?

Look – it has seemed for days that the defender is all set for a move to Tottenham and Liverpool were never really interested – it all seemed to be just speculation.

If they really wanted the defender – he would be signed already -Liverpool have already shown this transfer window that they are not scored to splash the cash and sign the players they desire.

But Tottenham will be getting a very good defender in Van De Ven – he looks like a very good player.
