£82M million Klopp signing means Liverpool ‘are more desirable’ club to join that United – fans told

The Cody Gakpo saga has shown that Liverpool are a more desirable club in the transfer market than Manchester United, according to  Jamie O’Hara.

Gakpo is one of the most sought after young players in the game after an incredible few seasons at PSV saw his stock rise so much that all the big clubs showed an interest.

Liverpool and Man United were both interested in a move for the Dutchman – but in the end – it was Liverpool that won the race for the attacker and he has already agreed a £120,000-a-week move to Anfield.

And after seeing the move happen – O’Hara has opened up and claimed that Liverpool are now a much more desirable club to join that United – Speaking on the Sports Bar on talkSPORT, he said: “When I look at Manchester United now and I look at Liverpool.

“If I’m a top footballer like Gakpo is and he’s looking for a move, I’m going Liverpool.

“Because there’s too many players over the years that have gone to Manchester United and failed, and failed miserably, and their careers have been completely knocked off course.

“You go to Liverpool, you’re going to be a success. Huge football club, brilliant fanbase and the owners seem to get it done.

“Manchester United owners again, twiddling their thumbs and they’ve lost another big player to Liverpool.”

Look – right now joining Liverpool is the right move – they are one of the best clubs in the world and will be challenging for all the major titles.

United are not the side that they used to be – so fans will not be shocked at the words from O’Hara – but they will not be happy about it that is for sure.
