£100 million man Niguez has big transfer announcement with Liverpool keen on deal!

Atletico Madrid playmaker and Liverpool transfer target Saul Niguez says it would be almost impossible for him to join city rivals Real Madrid.

The highly-rated Spaniard is regarded as one of the best players in La Liga and has been constantly linked with a big transfer move to either Madrid or Barcelona over the seasons.

But Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is also a massive fan of the Atletico star and reports emerged last summer that he was going to make a cheeky bid to try and get a deal done, but opted to improve on other key areas.

However, any hopes that Niguez could leave Madrid anytime soon has been wiped clean as the midfielder has admitted he is very happy after signing a new deal with the club that will keep him in La Liga until 2026.

The Spain international, who remains a long-standing target for Barcelona, told Cadena Sar: “Real Madrid? For me it’s unthinkable. It would be very, very difficult, almost impossible. No way.

“In the future I do not know what will happen. I have a contract until 2026. I signed [it] knowing what is there and I am very happy.

“I am where I want to be, I am very happy, I want to be here, [but] then it doesn’t just depend on me.”

Here is what we think.

Niguez is a very talented lad that will become one of the best players in world football, so even though he is happy right now money talks and the right offer from Liverpool or Barcelona will surely get a transfer deal done.

So the news he is happy wont worry both clubs too much as they are both keeping a close eye and monitoring his development very closely.
