Liverpool have offered contract to attacker after impressive start to season

Liverpool have offered Roberto Firmino a new contract to extend his stay with his current deal is set to expire next summer, 

Firmino has been at the club for quite a while now and has helped Jurgen Klopp win a number of trophies at the club – but he is now in his final 12 months of his contract at Anfield

And after the summer arrival of Darwin Nunez – it was expected that he will spend alot more time on the bench as Klopp looks to get the very best out of his big-named signed

However – the Brazilian has performed better than expected this season and some say – has been alot more impressive than the big new transfer signing

Now – according to Football Insider. Liverpool have offered a new contract to the Brazilian in order to keep him at the club

The Reds have reportedly offered a lower wage but have included performance-based bonuses based on goals and appearances.

Firmino must know that he is no longer a number one starter at the club – so he would surely be happy to help the club when he is needed

So the news that Liverpool are keen to extend his stay with the club will come as some great news – as he is a big fans favorite

And he is still a player that Jurgen Klopp can rely on – which is something that managers love to have in their squads’ guys that is for sure

So we are sure that an announcement will come sooner rather than later – especially as Firmino has shown no real desire to depart
