£82M star sends first message to fans after OFFICIALLY completing Liverpool move

Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Cody Gakpo and he is delighted with the move to Anfield

He’s registered 13 goals and 17 assists in in all competitions for PSV this season and is reportedly a player that Jurgen Klopp wanted to add to his squad this coming transfer window.

He is one of the most exciting young players in the game and is a player that has the ability to play in a variety of positions – something that Klopp will love to have in his squad.

And after a few days of speculation – Liverpool officially confirmed that he has agreed a move to Anfield – and the Dutchman has admitted that he is delighted with the move to the Premier League giants

He told Lierpoolfc.com: “I feel really good, I’m really excited to be here. I’m looking forward to start training and start playing for this amazing club.

“I think this is a great club for me to come in and try to show what I can [do] and try to help the team to achieve more beautiful moments that they already did in the past years.

“I think for me personally it’s also good to develop here and there’s a lot of great players here [who] I can learn a lot of things from.”

Gakpo is a brilliantly gifted player that all the big clubs wanted – so the fact that he has signed with Liverpool is massive and we will all be excited to see just what he is able to do in the Premier League.

The Dutch League is alot more different to the English game that is for sure.
