LIVERPOOL are reportedly ready to snap up Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane in the January transfer window, as there has been a snag in the contract talks that the German star has been having with the Bundesliga giants over the past few months.
Sane has developed into one of the best attackers in the Bundesliga over the past few seasons after making the decision to Leave Man City for the Bundesliga, but there has been alot of speculation regarding his immediate future.
The German has been in contract talks with Bayern for quite some time now, but has failed to agree a new deal with the club, meaning that Bayern chiefs are ready to cash in one of their best players.
The likes of Man City, Arsenal and even Newcastle have been linked with a move for Sane over the past transfer window, but According to Fichajes, Liverpool are monitoring the 28-year-old’s situation closely as Bayern want to retain the German international but want him to take a pay cut. The report adds Sane wants to stay put at the Bundesliga side but it remains to be seen if he will accept their offer.
The Germany international is nearing the end of his current deal at the Allianz Arena, meaning he is attracting plenty of interest ahead of potentially becoming a free agent next summer, and it has been claimed that the Gunners are ready to sign him for a bargain in the January window or wait until the end of the season to land the German on a free contract

Sane is proven at the very highest level of the game – is proven in the Premier League – and the fact that LIVERPOOL could get him for free at the end of the season could be a massive bonus.
But to say that he could replace the great Mo Salah, we doubt he could do that as he really struggles to find the back of the net in the Bundesliga.
SALAH STATEMENT DROPPED
Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi admits to loving Mohamed Salah, but has vowed to “respect” LIVERPOOL amid the latest reports that the French giants could open talks with the Egyptian star about a move to Ligue 1 at the end of the season.
Despite already netting 14 goals this season for Liverpool, there has been alot of speculation and rumours about the future of the Egyptian star as his contract is up at the end of the season, and he could leave the club for free.
Add that to the fact that he is able to hold transfer talks with foreign teams in the January window about a move at the end of the season, and there is a feeling that a move to Saudi Arabia, PSG, Real Madrid or even Barcelona could happen.
But now the President of PSG has once again got the transfer headlines rolling after revealing that he is a massive fan of the Liverpool star, Quizzed again on the links to Salah at the FIFA Club World Cup draw, PSG’s Qatari supremo Al-Khelaifi told reporters: “I love Salah, also because he came from our part of the world.
‘I am very proud of him, honestly, for what he’s done in the Premier League with Liverpool. And I have big respect for him and for Liverpool.
‘So we never talked to him. Respect Liverpool and respect the player – he has a contract with Liverpool and we never talked to him.”

All this speculation has not affected Mo Salah on the pitch as he is doing great this season, bit it is starting to dominate the headlines that one of the best players in the Premier League could leave for nothing at the end of the season.
If LIVERPOOL dont want the player, there are clubs that are willing to give him the contract that he desires, it will be interesting to see how this all plays out that is for sure.
SIMONS LIKELY JOIN LIVERPOOL
LIVERPOOL is one of the possible destinations for the talented Xavi Simons, as the decision has been made by PSG that he will be allowed to leave the club once his loan deal at RB Leipzig ends at the end of the season.

A successful 2023/24 season yielded 10 goals and 15 assists in 43 games, and this season he has started in decent fashion, With three goals and two assists in 11 games this term.
However – he has not quite impressed enough for PSG to give him a real shot in the side when he comes back from his loan spell, and the French giants have reportedly made a strong decision regarding the future of Dutch international.
According to Fichajes., the young Dutch midfielder will not continue at RB Leipzig once his loan ends, and The Parisian team will seek to sell him permanently, generating great interest in the international market.
And if you believe the words of David Ornstein, LIVERPOOL is one of the possible destinations for the talented star: “Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern, Liverpool and Real Madrid are seen as the most probable destinations, while Manchester United showed some interest during the previous market,” David Ornstein reported in The Athletic’s Transfer Radar.
“But it also depends on the player and Luis Enrique. If the coach wants to keep him and adapts approach slightly – or if Simons returns and accepts not always starting – then he could stay.
“PSG view Simons as a golden opportunity either way; they either retain a top talent or trade him at a huge profit. Unless something goes badly wrong, his anticipated transfer fee is €80million [£66.2m] minimum.”
