Liverpool ready to sign £35m star – Brazilian agrees personal terms – Italian reveals if £100M star will join Liverpool

Here is a roundup of to the top Liverpool news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys may have missed –
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Fabinho is literally on the verge of leaving Liverpool this summer.
Fabinho has been at LIVERPOOL for quite some time now and has been one of the most important players in the Jurgen Klopp era – but there has been alot of speculation surrounding his future at the club.
Jurgen Klopp has already spent some serious money on new faces this summer – but needs to keep on raising funds if the club are going to make anymore meaningful signings this transfer window.
What is the latest –
Liverpool received a £40 million bid from Saudi Arabia club Al-Ittihad on Friday evening. Having earlier included the Brazilian in their travelling party, the club therefore took the decision to omit him from squad heading to Germany on Saturday.
Fabinho informed Liverpool he wants out with his representatives having already agreed lucrative terms. His exit was dependent on the right offer arriving this summer – and now it has.
Fabrizio Romano has tweeted: ‘BREAKING: Fabinho will NOT travel to Germany with Liverpool squad as talks with Al Ittihad are now advanced — with personal terms agreed.
Jordan Henderson will travel with the squad as he already agreed terms with Al Ettifaq but clubs are not close to agreement on fee.
THE RIGHT DECISION TO LET FABINO LEAVE?
There is no doubt that Fabinho has been a brilliant player for Liverpool over the past few years and it is easy to see just why Klopp is keen to keep him at the club – but there comes a time when some players have to move on or get sold and Fabinho is certainly a player that the club could possibly let go.
He will get some serious wages over in Saudi Arabia – so it will be a good move for him personally.
And LIVERPOOL will get some money to use towards another signing – so it is a good move for them too.
Tchouameni message –
Real Madrid will not sanction the sale of Aurelien Tchouameni this summer despite adding Jude Bellingham to their ranks, Liverpool have been told.
LIVERPOOL boss Jurgen Klopp is still keen to keep on improving his side and freshening up the squad – and already has brought in some serious quality.
But with the reports that Jordan Henderson and Fabinho are both set to depart the club for a move to Saudi Arabia – there has been some rumours that the Reds could make a move for the talented Tchouameni
The France international struggled during his first season in the Spanish capital and was largely restricted to a bit-part role after the 2022 World Cup as Carlo Ancelotti’s side looked to plot a late revival in La Liga to stop Barcelona from winning the title.
However, despite his struggles since his from AS Monaco, and despite the fact that Jude Bellingham has been signed – Journalist Fabrizio Romano claims the 23-year-old will remain at Los Blancos this term.
WHAT HAS HE SAID –
“Let me say, from Real Madrid the message is very clear – they want to keep the player,” said Romano, providing an update on the Frenchman.
“They trust Tchouameni for the present and future of the club, so it’s not going to be easy to bring Tchouameni to English football. At the moment, it looks very complicated.
“Also, Carlo Ancelotti was very clear with the player. He told him that he wants Tchouameni to stay at Real Madrid and to be an important player for Real Madrid.
“Let’s see what happens, but from Madrid they still consider Tchouameni as a crucial part of their project.”
COULD MONEY TEMPT MADRID INTO SELLING?
Romano certainly knows his stuff – so if Madrid want to keep the Frenchman – they will.
But if Liverpool offer the right amount – there is always a chance of getting a deal done that is for sure.
Phillips wanted –
It has been claimed that LIVERPOOL are now ready to pay £35 million in order to try and sign Man City star Kalvin Phillips.
At Leeds – Phillips established himself as one of the best holding midfielders in the Premier League – and that prompted Man City boss Pep Guardiola to take him to the Etihad.
However – the move has not quite worked out and he has struggled to make an impact -with a number of injuries keeping him on the sidelines more often that he would have hoped for.
That has led to stunning reports in the media that West Ham are eyeing up a stunning deal for the midfielder – especially as they are seeking a replacement for the much talked about Declan Rice.
However – it now seems that Liverpool are very much interested in a move for the midfielder as they seek to sign a replacement for the departing Fabinho.
WHAT IS THE LATEST –
IcFootballnews believes that the Reds are keen to sign the out-of-favour English international and will offer £35 million to get the deal done this summer.
It has been claimed that Liverpool have already contacted Phillips regarding a potential summer move, and the 27-year-old is open to arriving at Anfield.
WOULD HE BE A GOOD SIGNING FOR LIVERPOOL?
When Phillips joined Man City – he must have believed that his career was going to go to that next level – but with all the quality that the club have – he has really struggled.
He is a very good player and a man that Liverpool fans would love – so it may be the best thing for him to leave City this summer – as he needs to reignite his career.
And at LIVERPOOL – it could be the big move that helps him win MORE trophies and achieve his goal of reaching that next level in the game

Don’t say things that you have no idea about, because 90% of Liverpool’s fans (including me) think that Kelvin Philipps would be a disastrous signing and we don’t want any other teams mistake. Anyway we just got rid of one injury prone player, that is Nabby Keita so don’t want another one in Kelvin Philipps. All comments I’ve read about the possible signing of Philipps by Klopp has been received very negatively by Liverpool fans with very rude comments.
