Klopp stunner! Real Madrid interested in landing world class Liverpool boss

Reports have emerged which have claimed Real Madrid wanted to hire Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp in the summer.

After guiding Madrid to a third successive Champions League win, Zinedine Zidane took the surprise decision to step down as boss after rumours emerged which suggested he was all set to get the sack for his poor showing in La Liga.

That forced Madrid to act fast and hire a new manager, and with the likes of Antonio Conte, Klopp, Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola all in top jobs, they were forced to turn to Julen Lopetegui, the former Spanish boss who was sacked by the National side just before the world cup started.

But so far the Spaniard has failed to impress as boss of Madrid and there has already been suggestions that he could be sacked well before the January transfer window, especially if results keep going the way they have been.

And Lopetegui will not be impressed by the latest rumour to emerge, as the Sky Sports website has claimed Madrid actually wanted to hire Klopp after the departure of Zidane, but the German is a loyal guy and opted to stay at Liverpool to push on from last seasons success.

Klopp staying at Liverpool was the best decision he could make.

Despite Madrid being the pinnacle of most managers in the game, Klopp is building a Liverpool side that will once again challenge the very best for the biggest titles and prising him away before he achieves his goal at Anfield will be very hard.

So even though Madrid were interested, and are still keen on the German, it would be a massive shock to see Klopp depart the club in the coming summer transfer seasons as he is a very happy man, that is building something special at Liverpool.
