Klopp told midfielder is free to join Liverpool if £32M clause is met!
Liverpool have been told that they would need to pay PSV Eindhoven the entire £32million release clause in order to sign Ibrahim Sangare.
LIVERPOOL have failed in a move for Moises Caicedo as the Ecuadorian chose to join Chelsea despite Liverpool agreeing a fee with Brighton, while Southampton teenager Romeo Lavia looks likely to choose a move to Stamford Bridge over Anfield as well.
The need for midfield reinforcements has come about after unexpected sales of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson to Saudi Arabia, while the likes of James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also departed the club.
That has led to some reports in the media which have claimed that Liverpool are now interested in a deal for Sangare – who has been impressing for the Dutch giants over the last couple of seasons.
WHAT IS THE LATEST –
ESPN have claimed that Liverpool are interested in PSV midfielder Sangare but Dutch outlet Eindhovens Dagblad have confirmed that the Eredivisie club’s position is that they will reject all bids below his £32m release clause.
Kiki Musampa, brother of Sangare’s agent, confirmed that Nottingham Forest made a bid for the Ivory Coast international that was turned down – as the player wants a club that suits his style: “For those kinds of clubs, these are amounts that they can cough up,” Musampa said regarding Sangare’s release clause.
“Nottingham Forest did bid, but that was not enough. You want to bring him to the club that suits him and where he will have opportunities to play.”

Liverpool are one of the biggest clubs in the world and should be buying players that are ready to come into the club and make an immediate impact – Sangare is not quite there yet.
He is a couple of seasons away from being ready to play for a club like Liverpool and we feel that his arrival would not make much of a difference to the squad – there are better players already there.
But LIVERPOOL do need to make moves, or they could have a terrible season if they pick up a few injuries and suspensions.
