£60M star announces ‘It’s really, really good” to have joined Liverpool

LIVERPOOL have confirmed the signing of midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai from RB Leipzig, and he is delighted with the move

Jurgen Klopp has been eager to rebuild his midfield following last season’s fifth place finish with James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all leaving the club

That led to many reports in the media that Szoboszlai was a man that Jurgen Klopp was very keen on brining to Anfield – and after weeks of speculation – they have managed to wrap up a deal.

The Hungarian said on his arrival at Anfield: ‘It’s really, really good. I enjoyed the last [few] days and I’m looking forward to knowing everybody better.

The last three or four days went really long; it was not that easy. But at the end I’m here, I’m happy and I can’t wait to get started.

‘[A] really historic club, really good players, good coach, everything is good. For me it was perfect to make the next step in a club like this. The fans, the stadium, everything is really good.’

In a message to the Liverpool fans, he added: ‘I can’t wait to see you in the stadium and I’m going to do everything that is possible from my side.’

Szoboszlai is a very talented player that will give Klopp alot more in that attack – he could be a very good signing for the club is he is able to adapt to the Premier League.

The Reds will be looking to add some more players to the squad but Szoboszlai and Alexis MacAllister is a very good start to the summer window.
