Liverpool fc transfer news: Would fans welcome £100 million return after star announces ‘i Love Liverpool’

Raheem Sterling has failed to rule out a move back to Liverpool, but would fans take him back?

Sterling came through the famous Liverpool academy back in 2012 and want on to be one of the most exciting players for the Reds, but his performances caught the attentions of big spending Manchester City and he decided to take the money over loyalty at Anfield.

Sterling has enjoyed great success at City over the past few seasons and has gone on to win two Premier League titles, a couple of League Cups and the FA Cup, as he has become one of the most deadliest attackers in the Premier League right now.

But he has sent rumours flying by opening up and failing to rule out a return to Anfield, Speaking on the Instagram account of his representatives Colossal Sports Management, Sterling said: ‘Would I ever go back to Liverpool? To be honest with you, I love Liverpool.

Don’t get it twisted, they are always in my heart, do you know what I mean? ‘It’s a team that done a lot for me growing up.’

Look, Sterling is met with anger everytime he touches the ball in front of the Liverpool fans and it would be a massive mistake to even consider a move back, simply because the loyalty that he did not show still hurts deep with many fans.

If Sterling leaves City it will be for a move to La Liga or PSG, and only a miracle would see him move back to Anfield in the future.
