Man United – 

Crystal Palace forward Michael Olise is keen on a move to Man United this summer, and the Red Devils are keen on a deal.

The winger was in electrifying form throughout the campaign, becoming the first-ever Palace player to record double digits for assists in an individual Premier League season.

Both Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked with a move for the winger who has reportedly decided which of the two giants he would prefer to join.

Now reports on the Goal website have claimed that Man United are interested in signing Olise this coming transfer window and are ready to pay some big money in order to try and get a transfer deal done.

WOULD OLISE BE A GOOD SIGNING.

The fact he has the ability to play in a number of positions, ye he would be a very good signing for Man United

But then again – is it really a good move for the lad? He will not get the game time that he is at Palace and could struggle to make an impact in that Manchester United side with all the quality they have.

So if the reports are true and he has decided that a move to Chelsea may not be the best move for him to make right now – it could be a wise decision to join a club that is looking for that next big thing – someone like Man United

The Red Devils need to start signing better quality of players that will make more of a difference in the squad – And Olise is certainly a player that has already proven himself in the Premier League over the past few seasons.

It will be interesting to see just who the club get in the transfer window – as they need to add a few new faces to the squad

UNITED TOLD TO SIGN LUKAKU – 

Man United have been told to sign Chelsea star Romelu Lukaku

Lukaku has been in strong form since joining Roma and has scored 18 goals in 36 games in all competitions this season. but is set to return to Chelsea at the end of the season if he cannot agree a move to a new club.

Lukaku to leave Chelsea?

It is no secret that Man United have struggled for goals at stages this season – and Yorke believes United could “compete with the best” if they secure Lukaku’s signature again.

He told OLBG: “Romelu Lukaku is absolutely still good enough to play for a top-six club. I think Man Utd or Tottenham should take Lukaku on a short-term loan deal and agree to pay a certain amount of his wages. As much as people say about Lukaku, he has a very impressive goalscoring record and he doesn’t get as much credit as he deserves.

“If you have a fired-up Lukaku who wants to play for you, he’s a match-winner and a handful for any opponent in the world. Man United have invested heavily in Rasmus Hojlund, but if you want to compete with the best then Lukaku is that player who can score 15 to 20 goals in a season, which is priceless and hard to find in today’s game.

‘Lukaku is still only 30 years old and a proven goalscorer, I think whoever gets him on a short loan deal will have done good and subtle business.”

Bringing Lukaku back to the club would not be the ideal move for the giants – Lukaku has already proven on numerous occasions that the Premier League is not where he would like to be.

We are certain that he will leave the English game on a permanent basis once he gets the right offer.

NEWCASTLE – HOWE TO LEAVE?

Eddie Howe will start next season as Newcastle manager regardless of whether the team qualifies for Europe or not, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Since the start of November, only Brentford (8) have lost more Premier League away games than Newcastle(7), while the Magpies have shipped the most goals on the road during this period (24 in 9 games).

The club are expected to carry out a major overhaul of the first team squad in the summer and Howe is the man they want to oversee the next phase of the project under their Saudi Arabian owners.

That has led to some shocking reports in the media which have claimed that Newcastle would be open to the idea of bringing Jose Mourinho to the club – as the Portuguese legend is available after getting the sack from Roma just a few weeks ago.

Howe said following the Chelsea defeat on Monday: “I thought it was a game in the balance and an open game. The game got away from us with the goals we conceded which were really poor from our perspective – they were self-induced.

“Wherever you play you have to pride yourself on being tight and I don’t think Chelsea had an abundance of chances tonight.

“But the way the goals came from our perspective is hugely frustrating as we know the details have to get better.”

Should Newcastle Bring in a new manager?

Howe has done a wonderful job since becoming boss of Newcastle– but at the end of the day – this season has proven that he cannot take the club to that next level.

There will be alot of fans that are delighted that he will stay at the club – some want a new manager in – but one thing is for certain – Mourinho may not be the right man to take the club forward.

WEST HAM – TARGET TOLD TO MAKE SUMMER MOVE – 

Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke has advised Harry Maguire to leave the club in the summer transfer window.

The England centre-back is concerned over his game time having fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford and losing the captaincy.

Maguire, 30, was linked with a January move to WEST HAM as the Hammers were prepared to pay £20 million to get a transfer deal done, but Red Devils boss Erik Ten Hag made the strange decision to keep hold of the defender.

However, with Euro 2024 on the horizon, Maguire accepted his lack of opportunities could become an issue sooner rather than later and After losing the club captaincy to Bruno Fernandes ahead of the 2023-24 season, alot of speculation about his future has dominated the headlines.

Now – Former Man United star Yorke has opened up and encouraged Maguire to Leave the Red Devils at the end of the season  – Speaking to OLBG, Yorke said: “Harry Maguire might see it differently and he’s entitled to, but I think him leaving Man United is a no-brainer.

‘His respect in the changing room would have diminished. Maguire would be a good fit for Aston Villa. Aston Villa is a big club and there is a certain way Unai Emery will want to play and there might be a player he has lined up already that we don’t know about.

‘Maguire should be the option for Aston Villa to look out for.”

Maguire is a top defender that needs to be playing on a weekly basis – so he does need to leave at the end of the season as he is not going to be a regular next season – especially as the Red Devils will look to sign a few more players.

LIVERPOOL – DE ZERBI TO MAKE MOVE?

Brighton are increasingly fearful that their head coach and LIVERPOOL target Roberto De Zerbi will leave this summer, according to The Times.

Earlier in the season Jurgen Klopp made the massive announcement that he would be leaving the club at the end of the season, and will take some time away from the beautiful game.

That has led to alot of speculation in the media about the man who would take over the Reds for the foreseeable future – with a a number of world class bosses linked with a move to Anfield.

Now reports on the Sky Sports website have claimed that Brighton are now very fearful that they could lose their boss – especially as the likes of Barcelona and Chelsea are also in the hunt for the boss.

Amid all the speculation and rumours – De Zerbi has opened up and revealed that he is happy at the Seaguls: ‘I do what makes me happy and right now it is to be where I am.

‘I’m lucky now to be able to compete with these teams at this level to play these games.

‘It makes me happy when we win but also when we lose, I feel something special.’

De Zerbi recently vowed to return home at some stage in the future but said there were ‘some things’ he ‘didn’t like’ about Italian football when he left Sassuolo to take charge of Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer of 2021.

‘One day I will come back to Italy, I don’t know when this day will come,’ he added.

‘But it’s true that when I made this choice a couple of years ago to go to Shakhtar, I did it because I wanted to find a way outside Italy and, without going into too much detail, there were some things in Italy that I didn’t like so I decided to try something else.’
