Liverpool told possible £130M signing ‘will become a superstar’

Liverpool icon Steven Gerrard has backed transfer target Jude Bellingham to become a superstar of the game

Ever since his move to Borussia Dortmund just a few seasons ago – Bellingham has devloped into  classy midfielder and a man that Chelsea are keen to try and sign – if you believe all the reports.

It has been claimed that he will not come cheap though  – as the likes of Liverpool will have to splash close to £130 million to try and get a deal done.

That will be money well spent if Gerrard’s opinion is anything to go by, with the former England midfielder a ‘massive fan’ of Bellingham and expecting him to be a ‘superstar’ over the next decade.

‘I think for the viewers watching this World Cup, there’s a massive opportunity to enjoy a massive pool of players from different countries,’ the Liverpool legend told Sky Sports.

‘I’ve competed against a lot of these players, your Messi’s and Ronaldo’s of this world. They’ll be the two big names with a lot of focus, but the tournament’s going to be littered with high class players.

‘I’ll be focusing my attention on England, I’m really excited to watch Jude Bellingham, I’m a massive fan of him.

“I think the next 10 or 15 years, he’s going to become an England superstar.
