Klopp urged to sign £50 million Prem star Neves for Liverpool this summer!

Stan Collymore has urged Jurgen Klopp to make a move and sign Ruben Neves for Liverpool this summer.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has built up quite a squad at Anfield and they are now considered to be one of the best sides in Europe, especially as they sought to end a 29-year drought to regain the Premier League title, while also challenging for a Champions League crown.

However, there has been some speculation in the media over the past few weeks about whom would be coming in during the summer transfer window to help take Liverpool to that next level, and Wolves midfielder Neves has been a shock name to make the transfer list.

Neves has impressed this season for Wolves and with Klopp, seeking to add some more depth to his midfield area, has been keeping a close eye on his performances.

And Collymore believes the Portugal international could be the signing to move Liverpool forward.

‘If you’re champions of Europe, that in itself is a huge catch,’ Collymore told Stadium Astro

‘Players from around Europe will have seen the atmosphere this year and the type of football. One who will be looking is Ruben Neves.

‘He’s been on the radar of several clubs, a playmaker.

‘He doesn’t score as many goals as he should but scores worldies.

‘Neves is the kind of guy you’d get on the ball in the final third and he has the vision of David Silva.’

Neves may not be the big superstar name that man fans would like to see arrive, but he is decent in the Premier League and would add some much needed depth to the side.

He could be a solid buy for the right price, but not for the £50 million that Wolves currently value the midfielder at.
