World class unit opens up and makes Liverpool transfer admission
Virgil van Dijk has spoken about his future at LIVERPOOL amid all the latest transfer speculation.
Van Dijk is easily regarded as one of the finest central defenders in the game and a man that Jurgen Klopp has been able to rely on over the past few seasons.
However – he did not look like himself over the course of last season and looked like a man that wa struggling to maintain those high standards that we have all been accustomed to seeing.
It has been claimed that Liverpool have no intention of selling the Dutchman – but the likes of PSG and Real Madrid are ready to try and tempt him with a move away from the club – especially as there will be no Champions Legaue football.
But Van Dijk has opened up and admitted that he will only leave the club if Liverpool do not want him anymore – he said: “I still have two years left on my contract and I assume that they (Liverpool) still consider me important for the team.
‘If not, I am sure I would have heard about it.”

Van Dijk is a massive player for Jurgen Klopp and the German wont allow him to leave the club anytime soon.
He does need a partner for that back-line next season tough as that defence conceded far too many goals for the quality of the side – it needs to be addressed.
LIVERPOOL need to sign players this summer – so the news that they will not have to worry about Van Dijk leaving is massive.
