Midfielder ‘heading for summer move’ – Arsenal fans are told!

Arsenal star Albert Sambi Lokonga could leave in the summer, according to TEAMtalk’s Ben Jacobs.
Lokonga came to the Emirates with big expectations that he could have a massive impact on this current Gunners side – but that has not happened.
The young man has struggled for game time at the club and has only been a bit-part player under Mikel Arteta – and is once again considering his long-term future at the Emirates.
Now – amid all the speculation and rumours surrounding the young man and his future – Jacobs has opened up and claimed that Lokonga could look to seal a move away from the Emirates at the end of the season.
He said: “It never really worked out playing for Arsenal, he never lived up to the billing, and has been forced out on loan as a result and it doesn’t really feel like he’s going to be part of Arsenal’s plans moving forward.
“So it is a very realistic possibility that he goes. He only played six times for Arsenal in the Premier League before the loan move to Crystal Palace.
“That would suggest Mikel Arteta probably doesn’t see him as part of the plans, but he’s only 23. That’s the only caveat.”

Lokonga has so many gifted players ahead of him in the side that it is easy to see why he is not getting the game time that he wants – and it wont get any better for him over the next couple of windows
It is believed that Arsenal sill sign a couple more midfielders – meaning that Lokonga will be further down the pecking order
There will probably be a few clubs interested in a deal for Lokonga in the coming transfer window – so maybe the best thing is to depart the club and seek a fresh start?
