£325k-a-week powerhouse drops huge message and suggests move to happen!
Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku says he will be returning to Anderlecht sooner than people might think despite recent links to Napoli and AC Milan.
Lukaku is not short of options for his next club after completing an impressive campaign at Roma. Reports suggest Antonio Conte is keen to bring him to Napoli while AC Milan are also monitoring his situation at Chelsea.
Despite this, reports have suggested that Lukaku is keen to return to Belgium and former club Anderlecht in the near future as it seems that he will not be given another chance at Stamford Bridge.
Now – amid all the speculation and rumours – Lukaku has opened up and dropped a massive hint that he could be heading to Anderlecht in the near future – Speaking to Belgian journalist Aster Nzeyimana, Lukaku said: ” I miss my mother, my children. I left my country at eighteen.
‘That return will definitely happen, much sooner than you might think. But now only the national team and the future matter.
‘We have to support the players who give us and who have done a good job. I ask the media: stop throwing fuel on the fire. Let’s move forward.”

Lukaku certainly had a very good season at Roma last year and he will surely have many options – but Chelsea need to make sure that they get a good amount of money for the powerhouse and invest in a better striker option than they currently have.
Enzo Maresca needs to add goals to that squad next season, so if Chelsea do not sign a striker that can make a big impact on the side, they may struggle to get back into Europe once again.
