Lukaku message sent, Trippier wants to leave, Kane to replace Lukaku, Chelsea close in on Digne deal in latest Chelsea news…

Thomas Tuchel said ‘there is always a way back’ for Romelu Lukaku after Chelsea’s club-record signing was dropped against Liverpool.

Signed by Chelsea for a massive £97 million last summer, Lukaku has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons over the past few weeks after he came out and admitted that he is not happy at Chelsea.

That has led to him being dropped by Thomas Tuchel, omitted from the squad and with rumours suggesting that he could actually be sold over the next four weeks of the transfer window.

However, despite the fact that many now want him out, Tuchel has opened up and admitted that there is still a way back into the Chelsea fold for Lukaku, who is regarded as one of the best strikers on the planet.

Tuchel said: “He is our player, there is always a way back, we will clear this behind closed doors and once we have made a decision and Romelu knows, you will maybe know also.

“There is a meeting on Monday with Lukaku. It’s not the first time something like this has happened in my career.”

Lukaku himself has described the situation as being ‘very hot’ in texts exchanged with ex-Everton teammate Tim Howard.

And the outcast forward also confirmed Monday’s make-or-break meeting.

In the alleged message, Howard claimed it said: “I can’t talk too much about it. It’s very hot.

“I have another meeting on Monday, then I can talk more.”

This is a very sticky situation at Chelsea and one that has shocked the world, but Lukaku is a man that can help the club win trophies and if there is a way back for the man, he needs to take it.

He has come back to Chelsea to prove a point, and so far that point has not been proven.

Diego Simeone has announced that shock Chelsea target Kieren Trippier wants to leave the club this transfer window.

The Blues have one of the very best squads in the Premier League and will be tipped to challenge Manchester City for that title, but a couple of injuries over the past few months could cause Thomas Tuchel some issues.

The German boss said himself at the start of the month that he was not planning a busy transfer window, but confirmation that Ben Chilwell needs surgery, and the recent injury to Reece James means that he may need to delve into that transfer kitty after all.

And According to the Guardian, Chelsea are considering a move for Trippier, who has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League in recent months.

Now, after Madrids game at the weekend, Simeone has opened up and admitted that the defender does indeed wish to leave the Spanish giants this transfer window, Simeone said: “We want him to stay – he’s a very important player.

“But nowadays, when a player wants to leave, you can’t force them to stay.”

Trippier is a very good player that is a big part of the Madrid side, so it has been a shock to see that he wants to leave such a big club, but the Premier League has that appeal.

It has been a shock to see that Chelsea are linked with a transfer move for the man, but at the end of the day, he would be a solid addition to the squad and bring some much needed quality.

It is probably unlikely that he will end up at Chelsea, but he could be a player that adds to a squad that will go on and challenge, and probably win, a few trophies this season.

Chelsea are seemingly closing in on a transfer deal to secure the services of Lucas Digne from Everton.

Despite the fact last month Thomas Tuchel admitted that Chelsea would not be doing alot of transfer business during the course of January, a number of injuries has meant that the club will have to delve into that transfer kitty.

Ben Chilwell, the number one left-back at Chelsea. is out for the rest of the season after having surgery on his knee and with only Marcos Alonso left in the squad, a move for Digne has been mooted.

Regarded as one of the finest in the Premier League, Digne has reportedly fallen out of favour with current boss Rafa Benitez and Everton are reportedly willing to let him leave the club before the 31st January.

Now it seems that Chelsea are closing in on a possible deal after transfer expert Fabrizio Romano opened up and claimed that the Frenchman is expected to depart the club, as the Merseyiders close in on a deal for Nathan Patterson

He Tweeted: ‘Deal set to be completed for Nathan Patterson to join Everton from Rangers. Negotiation at final stages as per @_pauljoyce – he’ll be Toffees second signing after Mykolenko. 🔵 #EFC

‘Fee around €11m plus add ons. Lucas Digne still expected to leave this month.’

It has been a massive shock to see that Digne has fallen down the pecking order with Everton and fans will be sad to see him leave the club this month. But if Chelsea do manage to get a transfer deal done, he would be a solid addition

He is an upgrade on Marcos Alonso and will give Chilwell a great challenge when he returns, so again, for the right money, he could be a solid signing for Chelsea

There has been some stunning reports which have claimed Chelsea may replace Romelu Lukaku with Tottenham striker Harry Kane this month.

And if the Blues do decide to let him leave this transfer window, then the Daily Express website have suggested that Chelsea may opt to make a transfer move to try and sign Manchester City target Harry Kane.

City attempted to sign the England captain, but after chairman Daniel Levy stood form on an alleged £200m asking price, the deal never materialised.

But With Sky Blues boss Pep Guardiola claiming that City will not attempt to sign a striker in January, the door could be open for Chelsea to test Spurs’ resolve, the reports claims.

A slow start to the campaign for Kane may have put some interested parties off and lowered his price-tag, which could make a swoop even more tempting for the Blues if they believe he could rediscover his best form at Stamford Bridge.

Look, Kane is one of the very best strikers in world football and clearly does not want to be at Tottenham any longer, so even though Spurs would not want to sell half way through the season, the right offer may actually get a deal done.

Antonio Conte is a man that does not take any shit and if he has an immediate striker lined up, he will not stand in the way of Kane leaving, even for a top four rival like Chelsea.
