Madrid star wants to seal his move to Manchester United this week

Raphael Varane wants to seal his move to Manchester United before he returns to Real Madrid training later this week

Varane is one of the most decorated Madrid players in recent times after helping the club win four Champions League trophies, three La Liga titles, three Spanish Super Cups and the Copa del Rey since arriving from Lens back in 2011.

However, he has failed to agree a new contract with the club over the past few months and it has been suggested that a move to United is his preferred choice, with many reports even suggesting that he has already agreed a move to Old Trafford

Now reports on Spanish publication AS have claimed that Varane is eager to wrap up his move to Old Trafford and wants the deal completed before he heads back into training with the Spanish giants.

If the deal can be sewn up before he is due to return to the Spanish side then he will be able to join straight up with United, but the report adds It is thought that neither club are in a hurry to complete the transfer,

However, Varane is hoping it can be done swiftly.


Look, the players that United are looking to add to the squad over the next few weeks are some big time players and they will be stars that will have the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea worried

They are real statement signings that United are looking to sign this summer, and Varane is one that many fans want announced as soon as possible
