£80 million star Maguire told ‘he needs to force through’ Manchester United move

Charlie Adam has told Harry Maguire that he may now have to force through a move to Manchester United this summer.

Maguire has become one of the most talked about players in the transfer window if you are a United fan, as there has been constant speculation in the media that Ole Gunnar Solskjsaer is keen to add him to the squad.

Solskjaer can sign players whom he believes will help get the side back inside the top four and then challenging for the premier League title, with Maguire on the shopping list, with the Englishman impressing for Leicester over the past 12 months.

And according to reports on the Sky Sports website the England defender is frustrated at Leicester’s stance at the moment and is reportedly keen to make the move to Old Trafford in the coming weeks.

Now Adam believes that Maguire may need to force trough a move if he is to get that big move to United, telling the TalkSport website: “I think he’s got to force the move.

“Brendan Rodgers is a good manager and he will learn a lot from him, but if this is the next step of his career when he thinks he’s going to develop again…

“Playing for Manchester United is totally different, it’s one of the biggest clubs in the world and with the pressure and the hype of having to win every week, it would be a great move for him.

“Not every player wants to do this and he probably won’t want to do it, but this is a last resort.

Maguire to United is pretty much inevitable as the Red Devils are desperate to add him to the back-line, but many are still wondering if he is good enough.

If he wants to leave then Leicester should let him go, but United should not be paying the £80 million that is being talked about in the media, as that is simply too much money to pay for a man that still has plenty to prove in the game.
