Man City boss Guardiola has Premier League message for Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola thinks the Premier League title is wide open after seeing his side get beaten by Chelsea 2-0 on Saturday.

Heading into the much anticipated Premier League fixture, City had not been beaten until their shock Champions League loss to Lyon early in the season and looked like a side that were unbeatable.

But Maurizio Sarri got his tactics spot and Chelsea ended City’s unbeaten run- a result that leaves Liverpool top of the table after they beat Bournemouth 4-0.

And after seeing his side lose to Chelsea, Guardiola has now claimed that everybody in the Premier League can win the title.

Guardiola said on the Sky Sports website: “We are in December – if you [ask] me if Liverpool can win the Premier League, I will say yes.

“If you [ask] me right now in the position, Tottenham or Chelsea or Arsenal can win the Premier League, I will say yes. Everybody can win the Premier League.”

Can anybody mount a serious challenge against City?

Although City lost at the weekend, and in convincing fashion, they are still the side to beat and Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal will all need to be on top of their game for the rest of the season, as Guardiola does not see his side lose.

In fact that is only their third loss in over 60 Premier League fixtures, so it is very rare they do not pick up the three points.

Anybody can win the Premier League this season, but the truth is, City are still the side to beat as they are still playing in a world that many of the other sides need to catch upto.
