Wow! Arsenal told they can sign treble-winning world class star for just £25 million

Man City have set their price for defender Aymeric Laporte, with Arsenal one of the clubs that are interested in a potential deal.

ARSENAL are on the lookout for defensive reinforcements this summer as Mikel Arteta keeps on trying to sign players that have proven themselves at the top of the game.

And that has led to constant speculation in the media that Arsenal are eyeing up a number of possible defenders between now and the end of the transfer window in order to solve a very big problem in the squad

29-year-old Laporte is looking likely to move on from the Etihad Stadium this summer as Pep Guardiola looks to freshen his squad up, and there has been some talk that the likes of Juventus, Bayern Munich and Barcelona are all interested.

With the big clubs interested also, Arteta will be looking to utilise his close relationship with the City hierarchy, according to recent reports on the sun, and has made early contact over a possible deal

WHAT IS THE LATEST – 

Reports suggest they will be willing to sell the defender if they receive an offer in the region of £25m.

Man City are looking to add to that back-line this summer and will need to make space for their next signing.

COULD LAPORTE MAKE THE MOVE TO ARSENAL?

If Pep Guardiola feels that he cannot get the best from Laporte in the future – then a deal could be on the cards – and although we dont believe that ARSENAL  have a chance – he would be a brilliant addition to that Gunners squad.

We are just not sure that Man City will want to do anymore business with the Gunners.

But if they do manage to sign the defender – he would be a brilliant addition to the squad as he has proven himself to be one of the best in his position since his move to Man City.

It will be interesting to see just where he ends up.
