Gunners decision opens door for Manchester United to sign exiting Milan star

Arsenal will reject the chance to sign Christian Eriksen, opening the door for Manchester United to seal a deal.

It is no secret that this Arsenal side is lacking a bit of creativity in the side, that Mikel Arteta is struggling to see the goals that he would like, and that would help this Gunners side pick up the results he needs.

That has led to reports in the media suggesting that money will be spent in the coming transfer window on adding a new midfielder to the squad, with the likes of Houssem Aouar and Isco high up on the shopping list.

However, there has also been reports claiming that Arsenal have expressed an interest in signing former Tottenham star Eriksen from Milan, especially after it was revealed by the Italian giants that the midfielder is free to leave in the winter window.

Eriksen believed he was ready for a fresh challenge and moved to Inter just last season, but despite all the hype that surrounded his move, he has struggled to make any sort of impact and has only played 301 minutes of game time this season.

But despite the reports which suggested that Arsenal were keen on a move, the Daily Star has reported that the Gunners have no intention of signing the ex-Spurs star in the coming transfer window.

The news will come as a massive boost to the likes of United, who are also interested in getting a transfer deal done as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows that he needs to add something different to his squad this coming window.

But would Eriksen be a good signing?
