Red Devils legend Giggs opens up on Ramsey transfer saga as Liverpool and Man United keen!

Wales manager Ryan Giggs has had his say on Aaron Ramsey’s ongoing contract situation at Arsenal, with the player linked with Liverpool and Manchester United.

The 27-year-old is in the final year of his contract at the Emirates and is able to talk to clubs in the January transfer window about a free move away at the end of the season, with some reports even suggesting Arsenal will look to sell in the winter window in a bid to get some money for the midfielder.

Both United and Liverpool have been heavily linked with a potential deal for the midfielder, with both Jurgen Klopp and Jose Mourinho still looking to improve their respective squads in hope of challenging Manchester City for the Premier League title.

But despite all the speculation surrounding the Future of Ramsey, Giggs has claimed the player has looked focused and ready, as his Wales side faced Spain in a recent friendly

Giggs said: “I don’t want to get involved. No. It hasn’t been.

“It wasn’t in the last campaign and it hasn’t been in this campaign. Aaron enjoys meeting up [with the Wales squad] and as for contract talks, I don’t really want to get involved in that.

“When he’s here he’s my player and like always he loves being here, he loves playing for his country and he’s very good to have around the dressing room and in the camp in general. It hasn’t affected him from my point of view.”

Here is what we think on the Ramsey situation.

It is becoming quite a bore to see reports on the future of Ramsey as many people now know he is all set to leave, so he needs to start thinking about his next move as the January transfer window is only a few months away.

His time at Arsenal is up and it is the Gunners fault, firstly for not giving him a contract earlier and secondly for handing Mesut Ozil such a big deal last season.
