Blues star opens up and tells Manchester United new signing ‘will be massive success’ after summer move

Chelsea midfielder Hakim Ziyech insists Donny van de Beek will be a success at Manchester United.

After months of speculation and rumours, Manchester United managed to convince Van de Beek that a move to Old Trafford would be the right one to make in order to further his career at the very top of the game

However, since his move to Old Trafford in the summer, Van De Beek has struggled for the game time that many expected him to have in the early parts of the season, and is starting to become frustrated at the lack of game time that he was promised before he signed for the club.

However, Chelsea winger Ziyech, who played alongside Van de Beek at Ajax for four years from 2016, is confident his former teammate will shine at Old Trafford and assured the fans that he will eventually become a success at the club

He was quoted on the SUN: “We spoke in the beginning when he moved to Manchester.

“And last week we didn’t speak a lot, we didn’t speak about his situation. I think he will need time as well.

“He comes from a different country, a different style of play.

“I know for sure it will take some time for him as well to get used to everything and then I know for sure he will bring quality to the squad over there.

“For him the most important thing right now is to stay calm.”

Van De Beek is a wonderful player that should be playing more game time than he has been and it is a surprise to see that he cannot get the game time that he was getting at Ajax, but we agree with Ziyech and believe he will have a successful career with United.
