Bayern Munich ready to sell world class Boateng to Manchester United as defender eyes move!

Bayern Munich are reportedly ready to ‘listen to offers’ for Manchester United target Jerome Boateng this summer.

Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho is rumoured to be after new defenders during the transfer window, with his current crop of players failing to live up to expectations.

Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Victor Lindelof have all failed in their quest to prove their worth to Mourinho, as Eric Bailly has been the only centre-half that has looked at home in the back-line for the Special one.

Boateng already had United on high alert after announcing that he was considering leaving the Germans at the end of the season, telling Sky Sports last month: ‘Foreign counties are always interesting. You do not have many chances.

‘Everyone has to decide for himself whether he wants to gain experience again.

‘I’m a different age now than I was at Manchester City and now at the point of thinking about it again.

‘Of course, it’s very difficult to get away from Bayern. That would not be a decision against Bayern, I’ve been feeling very well in Munich for years.’

And now the Daily Mail has claimed Bayern are ready to give the German his wish and sell on in the next few months, as they look to trim the squad and revamp before the window closes on August 9th.

Bayern are willing to let a number of top players leave the club, as they require funds to land their top transfer targets.
