“it would be a brilliant signing.” As Solskjaer urged to complete deal and sign £100 million man
Wes Brown has urged Manchester United to sign Jadon Sancho after likening the 20-year-old to Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo.
United may be concentrating on getting back in training and trying to get back inside the top four for Champions League football next season, but there has already been alot of speculation in the media about players that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will try and sign in the summer to improve his squad.
And one of the players that is reportedly on the shopping list of the boss is that of Sancho, who has become one of the most talked about players in the game and has been constantly linked with a move to the Premier League, with all the big guns linked with a swoop
Asked what the Borussia Dortmund winger could bring to Old Trafford, he told MUTV: “Talent and excitement.
“We need someone exactly like that at the club. We’ve had them over the years and I’m sure if we were to sign him he would bring that excitement back to the club. It would be good for the team as well.
“We’ve had players like that in the past, like with Cristiano Ronaldo.
“They’re the type of player who draw three or four defenders out and make the game a lot easier for the other players.
“If we could do it, it would be a brilliant signing.”
Look, there is alot of time between now and the summer transfer window to talk about possible signings for United, but if they have agreed personal terms with Sancho about a possible move, then great.
He will cost alot of money but that is because he is already one of the most creative players in the Bundesliga, and anything around the £100 million mark would be great, as his value will double that in just a few years time.
But it will be interesting to see just how this all plays out in the coming weeks as there will continue to be alot of speculation about the future of Sancho, and where he will eventually end up in the transfer window.
But would Manchester United fans like to see just him arrive in the summer? or should the club focus on other areas of the pitch first?
